Oliver Wyman
Oliver Wyman, the international management consulting firm, has appointed Dr Rebecca Emerson as its UK head. Reporting directly into the head of Europe, Davide Taliente, she will provide leadership to the entire set of the firm’s UK industry practices and capabilities. Rebecca has advised banks and market infrastructure players on wholesale risk management and treasury topics since joining Oliver Wyman in 2005.

Exchange traded funds provider Source has appointed Julian Ide as chief executive of Source UK Services. Julian has over 25 years’ financial services experience. He was most recently chief exec at Old Mutual Global Investors, a position he held between 2011 and August 2015. Julian said: “Our aspirations are being driven and supported by a unique set of shareholders bringing unrivalled expertise, support and resources to the firm. I’m delighted to be joining Source at this pivotal moment in the industry.” He has also held senior roles at BBVA Asset Management, Credit Suisse Asset Management, ABN Amro Asset Management and Schroder Investment Management. He will join Source in mid-April.
Genus
Global animal genetics company Genus has appointed Lysanne Gray to the board as non-executive director with effect from 1 April 2016. Lysanne, a chartered accountant, is the financial controller at Unilever. Prior to this, she was chief auditor working closely with Unilever’s audit committee and before that chief financial officer of Unilever’s global food service business. She has also held a number of other senior management positions within Unilever. Bob Lawson, chairman of Genus, said: “We are delighted to welcome Lysanne to the board. Lysanne’s great depth of experience, both from a risk management, audit and business operations perspective, together with her exposure to UK corporate governance and experience in the food sector, will bring additional value to the board as Genus continues to deliver on its strategy.”
