City Moves for 29 July – Who’s switching jobs at Lasalle, Augusta and Knight Frank?
Today’s City Moves includes Lasalle, Augusta and Knight Frank.
Lasalle
Global real estate investment manager Lasalle Investment Management has announced that Martin Zdravkov has joined its UK business in the newly-enhanced role of head of UK residential and impact investing, based in London. Martin will report to Philip Nell, the head of UK real return assets at Lasalle. He will be responsible for various investment strategies in the residential sector, including build-to-rent, social housing and shared ownership, and specialist supported living. Martin joins Lasalle from Aviva Investors where he was portfolio manager for the Realm Social Housing Fund and various other UK and pan-European long income real estate funds, as well as launching new products, such as the European long income fund. Previously, he was a senior investment Manager for the Notting Hill Housing Group, one of the largest housing associations in the UK, where he was responsible for corporate finance and business development.
Augusta
Polly Bahl has joined litigation and dispute funding institution Augusta as chief operating officer, based in London, where there is a team of 70. Polly joins from US law firm Proskauer Rose where, as London director of professional and administrative resources, she coordinated a range of operational functions. A solicitor by training, Polly qualified with SJ Berwin – now King & Wood Mallesons – where she became a partner specialising in private investment funds, a role which latterly incorporated various operational responsibilities. Polly’s hiring is the latest addition to Augusta’s senior team following the recent arrivals of Gowling WLG partner James Foster as head of international arbitration and FTI consulting managing director Leor Franks as chief marketing officer. These additions reflect Augusta’s ongoing growth and increasing client demand for dispute and litigation funding.
Knight Frank
Mark Routledge has been appointed partner within Knight Frank’s capital markets team. He was formerly head of office investment at CBRE for more than nine years. Prior to this he was head of investment at MEPC and a director at JLL. He will be working closely with Knight Frank’s Alastair Graham-Campbell and Richard Claxton with whom he worked 25 years ago at Herring Baker Harris. Alastair said: “We are delighted to have Mark joining us and, having known him for over 25 years, we know he has much to add. Mark brings significant investment and development experience to the… team and has an excellent network of contacts within private equity. He is a serious ‘rainmaker’ and we are excited about what he will bring to our team.”
