CYBG
CYBG has announced two new appointments to its senior leadership team. Lucy Dimes will join the Bank in July as group business transformation officer to lead on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank and the successful delivery of its investment and transformation plan. Lucy previously worked with UBM, where she was chief executive officer (CEO) EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa). She previously held a number of CEO and chief operations officer (COO) roles for telecoms and technology companies around the world, including Fujitsu, Equiniti Group and Nokia. In addition, Fraser Ingram has been announced as the Bank’s Group COO. Fraser originally joined CYBG in 2016 as chief information officer. Over the last six months, he has played an integral role on the leadership team as interim chief operating officer, leading the work to bring together the operational and technology functions of CYBG and Virgin Money while also shaping future strategy. Fraser joined CYBG from Kleinwort Benson, where he held the role of COO. Prior to this he held a wide range of senior business and technology roles, mainly in RBS, including information chief of Citizens Bank in the US.
Squire Patton Boggs
Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that James Collis is joining the firm as a partner in its financial services practice in the London office. James was formerly managing partner of Ashurst, and most recently a partner in its banking practice, focusing on acquisition finance and general banking law. Specialising in banking and finance law since training at Ashurst in the 1990s, James’ broad experience includes advising on corporate and cross-over credit, as well as cross-border acquisition finance and restructuring transactions. Prior to his appointment as managing partner in London, James was a finance partner in Paris for seven years. During that time he advised many major French and international businesses on leveraged finance, restructuring, and other financing matters.
JP Morgan Asset Management
JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Hugh Gimber as a global market strategist on the firm’s EMEA Market Insights team. Based in London, Hugh will deliver market and economic insights to financial advisers and institutional investors across the UK and Europe. Hugh joins from Blackrock Investment Institute, where he served as vice president and multi-asset investment strategist. In this role he presented multi-asset investment, asset allocation and economic commentary to a wide variety of clients, with a focus on explaining complex concepts in accessible terms.
