RIDGEWAY PARTNERS
The executive search firm has appointed Toby Crosthwaite as a partner. He joins from Russell Reynolds Associates, based in Singapore and London, where he worked on appointments in the insurance sector. In his new role, Crosthwaite will cover work in life insurance, general insurance, and reinsurance.
RUSSELL INVESTMENTS
Sarah Leslie has been appointed head of fiduciary management for the UK and Ireland at the asset management firm. She joined Russell Investments’ fiduciary management team in 2010. Leslie has more than 10 years’ experience in asset management and investment consulting, and has also held roles at Aon Consulting and Mercer.
UBS WEALTH MANAGEMENT
The wealth management firm has announced two appointments in London. Anchalee Hongsukpant joins as a client adviser in the Asia Pacific team from Standard Chartered Private Banking, where she covered Asian clients. Hongsukpant has also held roles at Barclays Wealth and Merrill Lynch. Chandan Chopra joins as a client adviser in the global south Asia team from HSBC, where he was a coverage banker in its investment banking team. Chopra has also held roles at JP Morgan.
CHAPS CO
The UK electronic payment system has appointed Tim Fitzpatrick as chief executive. He is currently global payments and cash management chief operating officer and group head of payment services at HSBC. Fitzpatrick has over 24 years’ banking experience, and started his career at PwC.
RBC WEALTH MANAGEMENT
Daniel Bisson has been appointed chief of staff, fiduciary services at RBC Wealth Management International. He was previously head of business development execution and delivery at RBC Wealth Management.
MERCER
Susannah Hines has been appointed head of employee communications services at the talent, health, retirement and investment consultancy. She joins from JLT, where she headed up its employee communication practice. Hines has 20 years’ experience, and has also held roles at the Pensions Regulator.
TILNEY BESTINVEST
The financial planning firm has announced the appointment of Nicholas Nicol as a financial planner in London. He joins from Hargreaves Lansdown, where he worked for five years as a financial planner responsible for clients across London and North Kent. Nicol has also previously worked as a client manager at Bank of Scotland Investment Services, and has held roles at Equitable Life Assurance Society and Prudential over his 22 year financial services career.
