Tony Sodhi has been appointed managing principal at the specialist business consulting group. He was most recently head of post trade operations at a niche consultancy, and has also held senior roles at KPMG/Atos and FX IT.
Barclays
Solomon Soquar has been appointed head of global investments and solutions in the bank’s wealth and investment management business. He has more than 24 years’ experience in private banking and investment management, and joined Barclays in 2011. Soquar has also previously held roles at Citi Private Bank, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust.
Sanditon Asset Management
The asset management firm has announced that Julie Dean is joining the firm. She was most recently head of the business cycle team at Schroders, and has also held fund manager positions at Cazenove HSBC, and GT Asset Management.
Deutsche Bank
Sam Wisnia has been appointed head of fixed income and currencies structuring and head of strategic analytics for corporate banking and securities at Deutsche Bank in London. He was previously a managing partner of DMC Partners, an emerging markets focused private equity firm, and has also held senior positions at Goldman Sachs.
Hymans Robertson
The consultancy has appointed Emma McWilliam to its enterprise risk management team. She joins from Milliman, where she held senior leadership positions, and has also held roles at EY. McWilliam is chairman of the Investment and Life Assurance Group’s Financial Reporting Practitioner Group.
Paul Hastings
The law firm has appointed Ashley Winton as a partner in its corporate practice in London. He joins from White & Case, and advises on technology, intellectual property, outsourcing and antitrust matters.
Crowe Clark Whitehill
Nicola May has been appointed a partner in the accountancy firm’s not for profit team. She joins from KPMG, where she has been head of charities. May has 15 years’ experience working with the charity and higher education sectors, and is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ charity technical sub-committee.
