The investment manager has announced three appointments to its research team. Declan O’Brien (pictured) joins as infrastructure strategist from Moody’s Investors Service, where he was an assistant vice president within project and infrastructure finance. Enrico Faccioli joins as research analyst. He is a recent graduate of Warwick Business School. James Davies joins as property fund analyst from Cushman & Wakefield, where he worked in its corporate finance team.
JUPITER
The fund manager has appointed Matteo Dante Perruccio as an executive adviser. In 2008, he founded and was chief executive of Hermes BPK Partners. Dante Perruccio has 30 years’ industry experience, and has also held senior roles at Pioneer Investments and American Express Bank.
GRANT THORNTON
The business and financial advisory firm has announced the appointment of Monique Beaulieu as its new head of equity reward. She is a lawyer and tax adviser, and has 15 years’ experience in the sector.
MOMENTUM PENSIONS
The pension specialist and independent pension trustee has announced the appointment of Valerie Calleja as group head of compliance. She joins from KPMG, where she was an associate director. Calleja was also previously head of the financial crime compliance unit at HSBC Malta.
BANDA PROPERTY
The property developer has appointed David Sowerby as a development manager. He joins from Mace Group, where he project managed a number of residential developments in Kensington and Chelsea, as well as overseeing the construction of a sports arena for the London 2012 Olympics.
EUROPEAN WEALTH
The Aim-listed wealth management business has announced the appointment of Marianne Laing Hay as a non-executive director. She was formerly head of private banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Standard Chartered Bank. Hay has also previously worked as chief executive for Citigroup’s European global wealth management business and head of private wealth management for Morgan Stanley in New York and London.
