The law firm has announced the appointment of Tess Waldron as an associate. She was most recently at Latham & Watkins. Before becoming a solicitor, Waldron qualified as a doctor and spent three years working in hospital medicine.
Saxo Bank
The trading and investment specialist has hired Tony Bainbridge as head of group human resources (HR). He was formerly at Rexam, where he was HR director. Prior to that, he held HR roles at Mars, PepsiCo and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Jupiter
The asset management firm has recruited Jason McAleer as head of dealing. He joins from Newton Investment Management, where he was most recently head of dealing. Before that, McAleer worked as a dealer at Sarasin Investment Management and Chase Asset Management.
Renaissance Capital
The emerging markets investment bank has appointed Amr Aboushaban as vice president in its equities sales team. He was most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where, since 2007, he has worked in emerging market sales.
OUem
Robert Godfrey has been appointed investment director at the endowment management business, where he will be responsible for property investing. He is currently a director in the national investment team at Savills.
Mundays
The law firm has promoted Sandra Dunn to partner. She joined the firm in 2010 from Hodders Solicitors, where she was a partner.
Star Financial Systems
The financial trading software provider has hired Dan Moczulski as chief executive. He was previously at IG Group, where he was a director. Prior to that, he was a sales director at City Index and commercial director at both London Capital Group and Zignals.
Markel
The insurance firm has appointed Nick Hillman and Nick James as senior underwriters on the property treaty account in its specialty division.
