Tokio Millennium Re
The reinsurer and subsidiary of Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co has announced the appointment of Mark Julian as head of its UK branch. He joined Tokio Millennium Re (UK) in 2008 and assumed the dual role of chief risk officer and chief actuary in 2011.
Baker & McKenzie
Julia Hayhoe has been appointed global director, strategy implementation at the law firm. Since 2007, she has been director of strategy and business development for Baker & McKenzie’s London office. Hayhoe has also held roles at Clifford Chance and in management consultancy at Hildebrandt (now HBR Consulting).
LetterOne Technology
The technology market investor has announced two appointments to its advisory board. Gennady Gazin currently serves as vice-chairman of the board at Studio Moderna. He was formerly chief executive of EastOne and has held senior roles at McKinsey. Jeremie Berrebi is a serial investor is the founder or co-founder of more than 14 high tech companies, including Magic Capital, KoolCapital LLC, RounVIP, IAdvize and Kima Ventures.
Restoration Partners
The technology-focused merchant bank has announced two promotions. Mike Kennedy becomes managing partner responsible for day-to-day operations. Tim McSweeney has been promoted to director – advisory, responsible for overseeing all client facing work.
Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group
The insurance, reinsurance and employee benefits-related advice provider has appointed Charlie Rozes as group finance director. He will join in September 2015 from Barclays, where he has held the role of global head of investor relations since 2011. Rozes has also formerly served as chief financial officer of Barclays UK Retail and Business Banking, and held roles at Bank of America, IBM and PwC.
Irwin Mitchell
Donna Goldsworthy has been appointed commercial litigation partner in the law firm’s business division. She joins from Cozen O’Connor, where she was partner in the international litigation and arbitration group.
