Deloitte’s real estate business has promoted five to partner. Jamie Olley (pictured) works in its City investment team. Mathew Evans-Pollard works in planning and development, Mike McChesney in lease advisory, Leonie Oliva in planning and Guy Palmer in procurement.
Squire Patton Boggs
The law firm has appointed Andrew Walker as UK head of real estate litigation. He was formerly a founding partner of the real estate disputes team at CMS Cameron McKenna. Walker’s appointment follows real estate lawyer Neil Taylor’s recent promotion to partner.
Baker Botts
The law firm has announced two appointments to its international arbitration practice. Edward Schorr has over 25 years’ experience in international litigation and Andrew Behrman has over 15 years’ experience. They both join from Hogan Lovells
General Atlantic
Andrew Crawford has been appointed managing director at the growth equity firm. He will lead its global investment activity in the retail and consumer sector. Crawford joins from Advent International, where he has been a principal.
JLL
The professional services and investment management firm, focused on real estate, has announced that Hunter Booth has returned to its West End office agency team as a director, following three years at JLL’s Hong Kong office.
WH Ireland
The financial services firm has announced the expansion of its private wealth management division, with the opening of a new office. Paul Wilson has been appointed investment director in the team, which will focus on discretionary and advisory fund management. Wilson previously worked at Charles Stanley.
90 North Real Estate Partners
James Caan’s investment advisory firm, which specialises in Sharia-compliant real estate investment, has appointed Daniel Cooper to head its new business in Chicago. Cooper was previously managing director, fund management for the HSBC Amanah Global Properties Income Fund, and director, portfolio management for the Principal America Office portfolio.
