The fund management group has announced the appointment of Antonio Forte to its international sales team. He joins from Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, and has also held positions at Luxgest Asset Management and Philip Morris International.
PWC
Andrew Claymore has been appointed director in the professional services firm’s financial services corporate finance team. He was previously at Standard Life, where he was latterly finance director for its UK sales and distribution business before becoming business development director, responsible for establishing the firm’s financial planning business 1825. Claymore started his career at PwC, where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
RUSSELL INVESTMENTS
The asset manager has announced the appointment of Elise Cardon as a portolio manager in its global currency management and trading team. She previously spent three years at Optim Invest, where she developed a startup currency management firm. Cardon has also held positions at JP Morgan and State Street Global Advisors.
LAURENCE SIMONS
Clare Butler has been appointed global managing director at the legal and compliance recruitment consultancy. She has worked for Article One Partners since 2012, latterly as general manager of Europe and Asia. Butler has also held positions at the Centre for European Policy Studies and CPA Global.
K&L GATES
The law firm has announced the appointment of Giles Bavister as a tax partner in its London office. He joins from King & Wood Mallesons, where he was also a partner. Bavister advises domestic and international companies, individuals and real estate trusts on a wide range of property matters.
ARLINGTON ADVISORS
The advisory firm has appointed Sean McKeow as managing director. He joins from CLV, where he was development director for Europe and the USA, and was responsible for overseeing the growth of its operations in the UK over the past eight years.
BLM
The law firm has announced the appointment of Caroline Craigie as a partner in its casualty team in its London office. She joins from Kennedys. Craigie has over 17 years’ experience in casualty law, handling employers’ liability and public liability matters. Craigie has also spent time on secondment working in London market insurance firms.
