Tom Fassnidge has been appointed senior claims adjuster in the insurer’s professional and financial risks division. He joins from Beazley Group, where he was claims manager in its UK and international team. Fassnidge has also previously worked at Scottish Re.

The professional services firm has appointed Alison Baker to lead its UK oil and gas sector team. An assurance partner for over 20 years, Baker is a specialist in transformational change and capital market transactions.
Fox Williams
The law firm has appointed Jonathan Segal as a partner in its fintech and alternative finance practice. He joins from Wragge Lawrence Graham, where he was head of fintech. Segal has worked as an in-house lawyer at Barclays and Citco Financial Products.
ING
David Grant has joined ING Commercial Banking’s shipping finance team in London as managing director. He joins from DNB’s London office, where he was head of shipping, offshore and logistics for central and southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Practico
The commercial costs consultancy has appointed Harsheda Mistry as a senior associate. She joins from Clyde & Co, where she was a costs lawyer. Mistry has also held roles at Eversheds.
Howard Kennedy
The law firm has announced the appointment of Daniel Hirschfield as a senior associate in its financial regulation and investment funds team. He joins from Mayer Brown, and has particular experience in relation to the regulation of funds and their managers under the EU Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive.
LGM Investments
The investment firm, part of BMO Global Asset Management, has appointed Stephen Ma as head of greater China equities. He joins from Fidelity, where he was a portfolio manager. Ma has also held roles at EK Investment Management and Hambro Pacific Fund Management.
