The accountancy and business advisory firm has appointed Steve Hopkins as a consultant in its restructuring and recovery practice. He was previously head of corporate insolvency at Barclays Bank, and has over 20 years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency.
LCH.Clearnet
Frank Soussan has been appointed global head of CDSClear at the clearing house. He joined LCH.Clearnet in November 2014 as head of in-business risk for CDSClear. Soussan has also previously held positions at Société Générale, JP Morgan, and Renshaw Bay.
Squire Patton Boggs
The law firm has announced the appointment of three new partners in London. Carlton Daniel is an intellectual property specialist, and his practice focuses on advising the advertising, marketing and media sectors. Miriam Lampert is a member of the firm’s labour and employment practice and is also head of its Israel group. Tim Stead is a member of Squire Patton Boggs’s corporate practice.
Pictet Asset Management
Emrah Kagitcibasi has been appointed senior investment manager in the asset management firm’s London-based emerging market debt team. He joins from Rohatyn Group, where he was a portfolio manager specialising in Europe, Middle East and Africa hard and local currency. Kagitcibasi has also held roles at Bluecrest Capital, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and EY.
Eversheds
The law firm has appointed Tom Goldsmith as a partner in its London real estate team. He joins from Nabarro, where he has worked since 2001. Goldsmith acts for UK and international investors, occupiers and developers on high value and complex transactions.
Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance
Elias Violaris has been appointed regional sales manager for London and the South East at the bank. He has over 12 years’ experience, and has previously held positions at NatWest, Bibby Financial Services, Close Brothers Invoice Finance, and Rocque Associates.
Russell Investments
The asset manager has appointed Michele Caronti as director, head of institutional for Italy. He joins from London Capital Advisors, which he founded in 2010. Caronti has also held roles at Unicredit Group.
