Jane Barker has been appointed chairman at the insurance company. She is currently chief executive of Equitas, a position she has held for six years. She was previously chief operating officer at the London Stock Exchange.
PwC
The professional services company has announced the appointment of Umang Paw as a partner, and head of its information governance and e-disclosure business. He joined the firm as an analyst in 2004, and will be PwC’s youngest partner.
Capita
The process management and support services firm has recruited Lee Cotsford as managing director of its consulting business. Cotsford joined the company in 2010, having previously worked as a consultant at KPMG and Axon Global.
Green REIT
Caroline McCarthy has joined the property investment company as chief investment officer. She was most recently an executive director in the capital markets team at CBRE. Prior to that, she established the property investment team at Bank of Ireland Private Banking.
Smith & Williamson
Juliet McDonald has been appointed associate director for marketing at the professional and financial services group. She joins from Liontrust Asset Management.
Rudolf Wolff
The fund management firm has hired Sophie Hime as sales manager. She has previously worked at Statoil and Save the Children.
Corac Group
Jon Carter has joined the group of UK-based engineering companies as chief financial officer. He was most recently at IPL Group, where he was chief financial officer.
Pramerica
The real estate investment business has hired Jocelyn de Verdelon as head of France. He will be based in Paris, and will sit on the company’s European executive committee. He was most recently office investments director at Altarea-Cogedim Group. He has previously worked as a special adviser at Entreprise Miniere et Chimique.
