The law firm has appointed Geraldine Quirk as a partner in its insurance practice to enhance its non-contentious insurance and financial services regulatory experience. She joins from Clyde & Co, where she was a partner in its corporate insurance team.
Legatum Institute
The think tank has appointed Jane Siebels to its board of trustees. She was formerly chairman and chief executive of Green Cay Asset Management, a hedge fund. Siebels was also formerly senior vice president and portfolio manager at Templeton, Galbraith & Hansberger, and head of European institutional equity management at UBS, and is currently chief executive of Siebels Asset Management Research.
Grant Thornton
The business and financial advisory firm has announced two appointments to its pensions advisory team. Ramona Jones joins from Ocean Knowledge Services, a consultancy she founded and ran that specialised in strategic research and analysis within the finance and insurance sectors. Zoe O’Donnell previously worked as an actuary for pension consultancies including Aon Hewitt and Thomson Dickson Consulting.

Graeme Bowden has been appointed business development manager at the wealth management firm. He has 20 years’ experience and has held positions at Aegon and Seven Investment Management.
Saxo Bank
The online multi-asset trading and investment firm has appointed Savaş Divanlıoğlu as head of Saxo Capital Markets Turkey. He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, and was formerly chief executive of X-Trade Brokers Turkey, which he established in 2010. Divanlıoğlu has also previously held senior positions at Citigroup.
Lombard Odier Investment Managers
The institutional asset manager has announced the appointment of Gregor Gawron to lead its insurance linked strategies team. He joins with team members Simon Vuille and Marc Brogli from Dynapartners. Gawron has also held positions at Falcon Private Bank and RMF/Man Investments.
