The private equity firm has announced the appointment of Gordon Hague as investment director. He has over 15 years’ private equity experience, and was most recently a director at 3i.
Berwin Leighton Paisner
David Rowe has joined the law firm as finance director. He previously held senior roles at PwC, including director of finance and planning for tax and legal in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, he was group chief accountant at Herring Baker Harris.
Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management
RBC’s wealth management arm has appointed Juan Pablo Cortes as a director for the Americas. He will be part of its London-based UK private client wealth management team. Cortes was previously a client adviser in the Latin America and Caribbean division at UBS Wealth Management.
Barings
The investment management firm has hired Anne Lui as head of marketing for Asia ex Japan. Lui has over 17 years’ experience in financial marketing and corporate communications, and joins from Value Partners Group, where she was head of marketing and communications. Prior to that, she was head of greater China corporate communications at Nomura.
BLM
Jef Mitchell has been appointed consultant at the insurance and dispute resolution law firm. He previously spent 17 years as head of common law claims and policy at the Ministry of Defence.
Allianz Global Investors
The investment management company has recruited Greg Saichin as head of global emerging market debt. He was most recently head of emerging markets and high-yield fixed income portfolio management at Pioneer Investments.
Hearthstone Investments
The residential property fund management firm has hired Lee Brooks as an account manager. He joins from Fidelity Investment Managers.
Traiana
The trade solutions company has announced the appointment of Guy Eden as head of product management. Eden was most recently head of product management at the London Stock Exchange. Prior to that, he worked at Ipreo and SunGard.
