Carey Group
The financial services company has appointed Joe Truelove as a director in its fund administration business. He was most recently at Kleinwort Benson, where he was head of business development for the fund administration sector.
HSBC
The bank has recruited Luiz Simione as global head of forfaiting and risk distribution for global trade and receivables finance (GTRF). He was previously the bank’s GTRF global head of business development.
Aviva Investors
Euan Munro has been appointed chief executive at the asset management company. He was most recently at Standard Life Investments, where he was global head of multi-asset investing and fixed income, and a member of its board.
Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets
RBC’s corporate and investment banking arm has hired Darrell Uden as managing director, and head of European equity capital markets and corporate broking. He has over 25 years’ market experience, most recently at UBS – where he was managing director and co-head of equity capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Hardy
The underwriting business has appointed Heather Thomas as a non-executive director. She previously worked at Lovells as a consultant and Wellington Underwriting as general counsel and company secretary, before establishing her own law firm in 2007.
State Street
The bank has recruited Kevin Andrews as vice president in its Europe, the Middle East and Africa lending team, where he will cover non-banking financial institutions. He joins from Lloyds’s global funds team, where he covered alternative fund managers.
Moore Blatch
Stephen Clow has joined the law firm as a corporate partner. Clow has 30 years’ experience in public markets, mergers, acquisitions and general corporate work. He was formerly a partner at DMH Stallard.
