Who’s changing roles today?
Perkbox
Perkbox, Europe’s fastest-growing employee experience platform, is today announcing the appointment of Jacques Stern, previously global chief executive of Edenred (2010-15), as a non-exec director on the Perkbox board. Jacques ran the Edenred business operating in 40 countries with 6,000+ employees and over £1B in annual revenue between 2010-2015. Since then he has moved on to become the chief executive & president of Global Blue SA, the global leader in tax-free shopping that operates in 52 countries worldwide.
Just in the last year, Perkbox has been named UK’s 4th fastest growing business, launched a range of new products, expanded internationally and invested heavily to treble its UK-based software development team. Perkbox will be launching into several additional international markets in 2019. Jacques’ experience as global chief executive guiding Edenred will be valuable to the company. As a board member, he will be assisting the senior leadership team in formulating and executing their global strategy.
BNP Paribas
Sara Huish joined BNP Paribas today as chief operating officer (COO) of global banking UK. Sara was latterly COO of the EMEA financial institutions and technology /media/telecom groups at Credit Suisse. She brings a wealth of experience in delivering integrated banking businesses to clients.Sara will take a central role in BNP Paribas’ continued efforts to build an effective, cohesive and well-controlled global banking UK business. She will be a member of the global banking UK management committee and control committee.
GPP
GPP, the prime broking, investor services and wealth solutions firm, has announced the appointment of Todd Johnson as chief operating officer. Todd joins GPP having amassed over 25 years of experience in the financial services, fintech and engineering sectors, and will report to the company’s chief executive, Julian Parker. He has held a number of senior buy and sell-side roles, including head of international prime brokerage at Deutsche Bank and Head of European Prime Brokerage at Citi.
He later co-founded Ivaldi Capital, a multi-manager hedge fund running $3bn (£2.33bn) when Todd left his role as managing partner in 2016. Most recently, Todd was COO at betting exchange Smarkets. Todd’s appointment comes as GPP celebrates its tenth year in operation. Having been founded as a custody and clearing firm in 2008, GPP has grown successful prime brokerage and wealth solutions arms to become an internationally recognised, fully-integrated financial services provider.
