Berenberg
The bank has announced the promotion of David Mortlock to head of its London office. He joined Berenberg in 2010 as head of sales and has been global head of equities since 2013. Mortlock previously held positions at Schroders, Citigroup and MF Global.
Edmond de Rothschild Group
Marcus Money-Chappelle has been appointed head of sovereign funds in Edmond de Rothschild’s asset management division. He has 28 years’ experience in banking and asset management, and started his career at Barclays in 1986.
Aviva Investors
Aviva’s asset management business has appointed Isla Mackenzie as global head of marketing and external communications. She joins from Aberdeen Asset Management, where she was head of marketing, UK. Mackenzie has also held roles at Standard Life Investments.
CFA Society of the UK
Natalie WinterFrost has been appointed chairman of the membership body for investment professionals. She is currently client director at Aberdeen Asset Management, and previously managed PwC’s London investment consulting practice.
Deloitte
The professional services firm has appointed Neil Reeve as partner in its financial services VAT team. He joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was head of VAT and transfer pricing in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Reeve has also held roles at Salomon Brothers.
Vestra Wealth
The wealth management firm has announced the appointment of four wealth managers. Daniel Fresnais and Andrew Keating were previously directors at Julius Baer. Effimia Geraki and Serena Doshi were both vice presidents at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management.
ANV Group
The specialty insurance group has announced the appointment of Cathy Garner as active underwriter for the ANV Syndicate 779. She is one of only three women active underwriters within the Lloyd’s market, and joins ANV from Kiln’s life Syndicate 308, where she was active underwriter. Garner has over 17 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market.
