The private equity investor has appointed Simon Adcock as a portfolio director. Adcock, a qualified accountant with nearly 20 years of big four advisory experience, joins from Deloitte, where he was regional head of its corporate advisory business. He began his career at KPMG.
Duff & Phelps
The valuation and corporate finance adviser has appointed Dominic Wreford as managing director and leader of its disputes and investigations practice in Europe. Wreford has more than two decades of accounting experience, with over 17 specialising in forensic accounting, commercial litigation and fraud. He has acted as expert in several high-profile cases.
AIG
The insurance company has appointed Stuart Sutherland as head of casualty for the UK. Based in London, Stuart reports to Jacqueline McNamee, managing director, UK and Nicolas Berg, EMEA head casualty. Sutherland joined AIG after nine years with XL, most recently as regional casualty manager for the UK, Australia and Scandinavia. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in both underwriting and broking, including in the Lloyds market.
Walker Crips
The investment and wealth management group has appointed Christine Little as operations manager. Little joins with over 15 years’ experience. She was previously at Ashcourt Rowan, where she was head of business quality. Prior to that, she was a analyst and consultant at Pension & Benefit Services.
Montfort Communications
Duncan Learmouth and James Olley have joined the strategic and financial communications agency. Learmouth joins from GlaxoSmithKline, where he worked for 23 years in senior positions, including global head of communications and investor relations and as a senior vice president. Olley joins after 11 years at Brunswick, where he lead on several blue chip accounts.
Axa Investment Managers
Florence Dard has been appointed head of France at the investment management firm. She joins from Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, where she held a number of senior positions since 2010, including head of European institutional sales and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to that, she spent 16 years with the Axa family.
