The commercial real estate services firm has appointed Shane O’Reilly as associate director in its investment property management team. He joins after 10 years at King Sturge/JLL, where his mandates included Crown Estate, Urban Regional Portfolio, and Ropemaker Properties.
DEUTSCHE ASSET AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT
Matthew Lamb has been appointed co-head of alternatives coverage in the asset management business’s global client group. He was previously head of institutional and wholesale distribution for the UK and Middle East and global head of multi-asset sales at GAM. Lamb has over 12 years’ liquid alternatives expertise.
AVIVA INVESTORS
The asset management business of Aviva has announced two appointments to its investment strategy team. Ahmed Behdenna joins as senior multi-asset strategist from Societe Generale, where he was a senior strategist within its multi-asset research team. Marc Semaan also joins as a multi-asset strategist. He was previously a macro strategist at Friends Life Investments, and has also worked at Brandywine Global Investment Management.
MOMENTUM INVESTMENT SOLUTIONS AND CONSULTING
The consulting firm has announced three appointments to its UK investment consulting team. Reena Thakkar, Marc Devereux, and Raj Goswami were all formerly principal consultants at Mercer Investments. They will work under Richard Cooper, who joined Momentum in 2014 from Mercer, where he was senior partner in its investment business.
HARBOUR LITIGATION FUNDING
The litigation funding firm has announced two appointments. Michael Hartridge joins as senior director of litigation funding from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was previously general counsel for litigation, regulatory and competition. He has also held roles at Morgan Stanley and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Mark King joins as associate director of litigation funding from Mayer Brown, where he was a senior associate.
PAUL HASTINGS
Paul Severs has been appointed partner in the law firm’s corporate practice. He joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner, where he was head of structured debt and capital markets. Severs is a structured finance and capital markets lawyer.
