The multi-let industrial estates management firm has announced the appointment of Oliver Bowditch to handle acquisitions. He joins from JLL, where he focused on providing valuation advice to banks, institutional investors and property companies.
BDO
The accountancy and business advisory firm has appointed Chris Bellairs as a partner in its financial services practice. He has over 16 years’ experience as an auditor and adviser in the financial services industry. Bellairs was most recently at PwC, where he led its insurance and investment management internal audit advisory service.
Charles Russell
Esther White has joined the law firm’s pensions team as a senior associate. She has over 10 years’ pensions experience, and joins from Independent Trustee Services.
Berenberg
The European investment and private bank has hired Tony Sofroniou as a director in its London office. He was most recently at HSBC, where he spent almost 30 years in international banking with posts in the UK, Jersey, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Korn Ferry
The recruitment company has appointed Kai Hammerich as a senior client partner. He previously led the European leadership and succession practice at Russell Reynolds Associates. Prior to that, Hammerich held marketing roles at Apple and Hewlett-Packard.
Herbert Smith Freehills
The law firm has made two appointments. Vincent Hatton joins as a partner in its global finance practice. He specialises in structured finance, securitisation and project bonds, and joins from Clifford Chance. Rachel Campbell joins as of counsel from Allen & Overy. She is also solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
Deutsche Bank
Alastair Blackman has joined the bank as head of media for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in its investment banking coverage arm. He previously spent nine years at Credit Suisse, where he was most recently head of media for investment banking in EMEA. Prior to that, Blackman held roles at HSBC.
