Barbican Centre Trust
Emma Kane has been appointed chairman of the charitable arm of the Barbican Centre. She has worked in corporate and financial PR for over 25 years, and is founder and chief executive of Redleaf PR. Kane is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and board director of Grange Park Opera.
London Metal Exchange
Paul MacGregor has been appointed head of sales at the London Metal Exchange. He joins from ION Trading, where he was head of European agency sales. MacGregor has previously held senior roles at FFastFill and NYSE Euronext.
Kier Group
The construction and property group has appointed Beverley Dew as finance director. He joins from Balfour Beatty, where he was finance director of its UK regional construction business. Dew has also held senior roles at Lend Lease, Redrow Group and Invensys Rail.
Ince & Co
Philippe Ruttley has been appointed shipping and aviation partner and head of EU and competition law in the law firm’s London office. He has been working in private practice since 1989, and previously served as a UN legal adviser in Rome and as a European Commission adviser to the UK government’s Treasury Solicitor’s department.
PwC
Bradley Phillips has been appointed asset management tax director at the professional services firm. He has nearly 25 years’ experience in tax, and joins from Herbert Smith Freehills, where he was a tax partner focused on M&A and other corporate transactions, tax disputes, and investment funds.
Sussex Partners
The alternative investments advisory firm has appointed Frederic Neefs as partner. He is a former head of investments at Credit Agricole Asset Management, where he co-headed the development of a series of fund of hedge funds. Neefs was most recently partner of Lozé & Associes.
Tilney Bestinvest
David Cummins has been appointed director, financial planning at the investment and financial planning firm. He joins from European Wealth, where he was a senior financial adviser. Cummins has also worked at St James’s Place, Halifax Bank of Scotland, and Equitable Life.
