International corporate lawyer Francesca Lee is joining the law firm. She has previously held senior legal roles with Shell Hong Kong and General Electric Capital Corporation. Lee is particularly experienced in cross-border and international mergers, sales, acquisitions and joint ventures.
Latham & Watkins
London partner Bill Voge has been elected global chair and managing partner at the law firm. He succeeds Robert M Dell, who has been Latham & Watkin’s global chair and managing partner for the last two decades.
Growth Capital Partners
The private equity firm has announced the promotion of Richard Shaw to investment director. He joined in 2012, and has previously worked as a corporate finance adviser at Clearwater Corporate Finance. Shaw has also held roles at Grant Thornton.
Smith & Williamson Investment Management
The investment arm of the professional services firm has appointed John Anderson as a partner and manager of its Fixed Interest Trust. He has previously worked as head of fixed interest at Rensburg Sheppards, as head of credit at Gartmore, and has also held roles at JP Morgan.
Livingstone London
The mid-market M&A and debt advisory firm has announced four appointments. James Local joins the business services team as a director from Kinmont Advisory. He has also held roles at UBS Investment Bank and Ernst & Young. Richard Inglis joins the industrials team from Singapore-based Pickering Pacific. He has also held roles at Fairfax IS and Deloitte. Tom Stoten and Jamie Hutton both join as analysts from KPMG, and will work in the media tech and consumer teams respectively.

Tim McCall has been appointed director of corporate affairs at the over-50s products and services provider. He joins from MHP Communications, where he was chief operating officer. McCall has also held roles at the Hogarth Partnership and MJ2.
Norton Rose Fulbright
Conor Foley has been appointed adviser, government and regulatory affairs, in the law firm’s regulation and investigations group. He previously led a Brussels-based government relations practice. Foley has also held positions at Total, the European Commission, and Eurasia Group.
