Andrew Murdoch has joined specialist lender Together as group valuations manager, after 12 years with Eddisons. A Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors-registered valuer and registered receiver, he has extensive experience in valuation, asset management and value enhancement. At Eddisons, he spent eight years specialising in corporate recovery, insolvency and LPA receiverships, including two year-long secondments in the corporate recoveries teams at Nationwide Building Society and The Co-operative Bank.
LINCOLN PENSIONS
Richard Farr has been appointed managing director of Lincoln Pensions, the specialist pensions advisory business of Lincoln International. Richard will be joining Lincoln Pensions from BDO, where he currently leads the pensions advisory business team. During his six years with BDO, Richard provided pensions advice to a range of blue chip clients including Uniq, AEA Group and General Motors. Prior to working at BDO, he was head of pensions at Swiss Re and Partner and PwC’s lead of the corporate pension advisory practice.
ONESAVINGS BANK
OneSavings Bank, the specialist lending and retail savings group, has appointed Adrian Moloney as its new sales director. Adrian will be responsible for sales and distribution in the Kent Reliance, InterBay Commercial and Prestige Finance brands. He joins from Nationwide, where he was a senior member of the corporate account team, and was previously involved in the launch of the Nationwide For Intermediaries proposition.
WORLDREMIT
Ian Cole has been appointed group chief financial officer at money transfer app WorldRemit. Ian brings deep expertise in equity and debt funding, acquisitions and delivering shareholder value. Ian’s appointment is the latest in a string of senior hires as WorldRemit. Earlier this year, WorldRemit appointed Hailo’s Audrey Stewart as chief people officer. In September Gabriella Poczo joined WorldRemit as CTO from Skype.
TROY
Troy Asset Management (Troy) has announced that global equity income fund manager James Harries is to join the company in 2016. James joins from Newton Investment Management where he was leader on the global equity income strategy and manager of the £4.5bn Newton Global Income Fund since its launch in November 2005.
HOLMAN FENWICK WILLAN
Trade finance specialist Philip Prowse has joined international law firm Holman Fenwick Willan in London as a partner. He joins the firm from Clyde & Co. Philip has specialised in commodity trade finance for the past decade and has extensive experience of acting for traders and banks.
