Investec
Roger Lee has been appointed to the bank’s large cap pan-European sales team. He joins from Macquarie, where he was first responsible for leading the development of its global sales platform in Asia and the Middle East, and subsequently relocated to London to develop its UK and European long-only coverage. Lee has over 20 years’ equity market experience, and has also held roles at Deutsche Bank.
Savills Investment Management
Andreas Trumpp has been appointed head of research, Germany at the property investment management firm. He joins from Colliers International in Germany, where he was head of research.
Deloitte
The business advisory firm has announced several senior appointments. James O’Riordan becomes leader of its financial services practice. He was previously head of insurance at Deloitte UK and co-head of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) insurance practice. David Myers becomes UK head of capital markets. He has over 25 years’ experience. Senior audit partner David Rush becomes head of insurance and co-head of its EMEA insurance group. Finally, senior partner Neil Tomlinson becomes head of banking.
BT Group
Mike Inglis has been appointed to BT’s board as a non-executive director and a member of its technology committee. He is currently non-executive director and chairman designate of Ilika, non-executive director of Pace, and independent director at Advanced Micro Devices. Inglis has previously held senior positions at ARM, AT Kearney and Motorola.
GFT
The investment banking consultancy has appointed Ugo Okonkwo as a managing consultant within its London legal, regulatory and compliance practice. She joins from Sapient Global Markets, and has also held positions at RBS, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, EY and Accenture.
BLM
The risk and insurance law firm has appointed Paula Jefferson as partner. She joins from DAC Beachcroft, where she led its national disease unit. Jefferson is an abuse claims expert.
