Killik & Co
The stockbroker has appointed Jon Simmons as business development manager. He joins from Schroders, where he was sales manager in its financial institutions and strategic accounts team. Simmons has also held roles at Cazenove Capital Management and Invesco Perpetual.
M&G Real Estate
Lucy Williams has been appointed director, institutional business for UK & Europe at M&G’s real estate fund management arm. She joins from Ignis Asset Management, and has also held senior roles at Lothbury Investment Management.
Investec Structured Products
The structured products provider has announced three appointments. Leigh Fisher joins as regional sales manager for London West from Natixis Global Asset Management, where she was head of advisory sales. Emma Foley joins broker services from Henderson Global Investors. In addition, Bobby Owen has been promoted from broker services to regional sales manager for London East.
BlueBay Asset Management
Wike Groenenberg has been appointed alternative strategy director – macro at the fixed income and alternative investment management firm. She was previously managing director and head of emerging markets strategy at Citi.
Dentons
The law firm has announced the appointment of Andrew Henderson as a partner in its real estate department. He joins from Herbert Smith Freehills, where he was a senior associate in its real estate division in London. Henderson has also worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Halliwells and SJ Berwin.
White & Case
Matthew Griffin has been appointed partner to lead the law firm’s investment funds practice in London. He joins from Debevoise & Plimpton, where he was international counsel.
SYZ Asset Management
The Swiss banking group has announced two appointments. Michael Clements joins as head of European equities. He will manage the OYSTER European opportunities, European selection, and continental European selection funds. He joins with Claire Manson, who will manage the OYSTER European mid- & small-cap fund. Both come from Franklin Templeton.
