CRUX Asset Management
The fund manager has appointed Karen Zachary as chief operating officer. She has 20 years’ experience in asset management, and has held positions at Henderson Global Investors, Man Group, Fidelity International and New Star Asset Management.
EY
Chris Gould has been appointed partner and head of the professional services firm’s cybercrime team in the UK. He joins from PwC, where he led its cyber security practice in central and eastern Europe. Gould has over 25 years’ experience.
Axa Investment Managers
The asset management company has announed the promotion of Ian Smith and Paul Birchenough as co-managers of the Axa Framlington Emerging Markets fund. Smith joined in 2012 and has also held positions at Matrix Group and Nevsky Capital. Birchenough joined in 2011 from Nevsky Capital and has also worked at KPMG. In addition, Alex Khosla joins the team as an emerging markets equities analyst from UBS Investment Bank.
Nockolds
Andrew Fernandes has been appointed partner in the law firm’s commercial property practice. He joined Nockolds as an associate solicitor in 2011, and began his career at Walter Jennings & Son.
BTIG
The financial services firm has announced two appointments to its institutional equity sales group. Matthew Rubens joins as managing director from Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently head of emerging markets execution across London, Moscow and Dubai. John McPate joins as managing director and global technology sales specialist from JP Morgan, where he was most recently a global technology specialist.
McGuireWoods
The law firm has appointed Martin Barrett as partner and head of its real estate team in London. He joins from the London offices of RPC, where he was head of its real estate group.
Amundi
Vincent Mortier has been appointed deputy chief investment officer at the asset manager. He was previously chief financial officer of Societe Generale’s global banking and investor solutions division.
