Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) Real Assets has announced the appointment of Tony Doherty as head of product development in its business development team. Tony takes over from Dan Batterton who has moved into the new role of build-to-rent fund manager . Prior to joining LGIM Real Assets, Tony spent 15 years at Schroders Investment Management, working across research, fund analysis and as a fund manager in the indirect real estate space.
TOWERS WATSON
Hazel Rees has been appointed by global professional services company Towers Watson to its UK executive compensation leadership team as director. Hazel’s
15-year career spans both advisory and corporate roles, including reward positions for ITV and Tesco. Hazel joins Towers Watson from Deloitte where she specialised in advising leading global organisations on executive pay, performance and reward.

Online lender for short-term property finance LendInvest has appointed three new business development managers. Alex Kyriacou joins LendInvest from MarketInvoice, Europe’s largest invoice trading platform, where he was a partnerships manager working closely with financial intermediaries, banks and accountancy firms. Tom Madden, a CeMAP-qualified mortgage adviser, joins LendInvest from Gemini Consultants, a mortgage investment and servicing business where he spent 10 years in a range of advisory and business development roles. Alex Strien also joins LendInvest from MarketInvoice where he was a senior funding specialist.
PRIME ADVANTAGE ADVISORY
Mark Manderson has joined Prime Advantage Advisory as a founder partner for Australia and New Zealand. Mark will focus on the development of the manufacturing and distribution in Australia and New Zealand. Mark is based in Perth, Western Australia and has worked in both multinational and SME companies in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Barbados and the UK.
LONDONMETRIC PROPERTY
LondonMetric Property has appointed Andrew Smith as a member of the company’s executive committee and strategy director. Andrew joined LondonMetric in May 2014 from British Land, where he worked for nine years and was a senior member of the retail team and head of investment portfolio management. Since joining LondonMetric, he has been increasingly responsible for the company’s strategy and portfolio management as well as its joint ventures.
