Wilmington
Pedro Ros has been appointed chief executive officer, as incumbent Charles Brady prepares to retire from the business-to-business information firm. Ros joins from Creston, where he is head of strategic insight. He was previously chief executive and chairman of WPP-owned TNS.
UBS Global Asset Management
Martina Kay has been appointed global head of human resources. She joins from Schroders Investment Management, where she held a similar role. She will be based in London.
Odeon and UCI Cinemas Group
Mark Way has been appointed chief financial officer of the cinema group. Way joins from Hilton Worldwide, where he has been senior vice president for group operations finance since 2006.
Psigma Investment Management
Nick Lacey is to take up the role of business development director. Originally a professional rugby player, Lacey moved into the financial services industry in 2000. After six years in Shanghai, he moved back to the UK, where he worked for Barclays Wealth and Cheviot Asset Management.
Dual
Phillip Oldcorn has been appointed chief operating officer for Europe by the underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance Group. Oldcorn joined Dual last year from First Title Insurance.
Payne Hicks Beach
The London law firm has announced four promotions in its family law department. Ian Connell and Matthew Booth have been promoted to partner, and Vicky de’Sanna and Andrew Tose have been made associates. Connell previously practised as a specialist family lawyer in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Booth, Tose and de’Sanna all joined Payne Hicks Beach after qualifying.
EC Harris
Mark Langdale and Mark Barrow have been appointed to leadership roles within the international built asset consultancy firm. The former will lead on central government, with Barrow leading on government and municipals in the north of England. Langdale joined from BT, where he led the company’s UK consulting arm. Barrow held the role of strategic director for development and culture at Birmingham City Council, as well as other senior roles in councils across the country.
