BNP Paribas Real Estate
Simon Durkin has been appointed head of UK research at the property advisory firm. He joins from Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, where he was head of research and strategy for Europe in its alternatives and real assets division. Durkin has also held senior roles at CoStar Group.
Newton Investment Management
The investment management firm, part of BNY Mellon, has appointed Elizabeth Para as UK institutional business development manager. She most recently worked at Fundsmith, where she focused on institutional sales and consultant relations. Para has also held positions at State Street Global Advisors, BNP Paribas Investment Partners and Alliance Bernstein.
Markit
Ranjit Moses has been appointed chief marketing officer at the financial information services provider. He joins from Lombard Odier Group, where he was head of global marketing and communications. Moses was also previously managing director, head of international marketing and co-head of global institutional marketing at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
Colliers International
The commercial real estate services firm has appointed Richard Bruce as director of operations within its Europe, Middle East and Africa division. He joins from Kennedys. In addition, Nick Harvey-Jones has been appointed senior investment director in Colliers International’s national capital markets team. He joins from CBRE.
Norton Rose Fulbright
Kimberley Wood has been appointed partner in the law firm’s London corporate, M&A and securities team. She joins from Vinson & Elkins in London. Wood has worked on energy transactions throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Menzies
The accountancy firm has announced the promotion of four directors to partner. Stephen Hemmings joined in 2013 from KPMG, and specialises in corporate tax planning, real estate and corporate transactions. Gavin Cunningham is head of the firm’s forensic services and joined in 2014 from private practice. In addition, Caroline Milton and Roberto Lobue have been promoted to relationship partners responsible for client accounts.
