New Quadrant Partners
The private client law firm has appointed Helen McGhee as a senior associate. She joins from Squire Patton Boggs. McGhee was recently named rising star at the LexisNexis Taxation Awards, and advises on all aspects of tax affairs.
BMO Global Asset Management
The investment management firm has announced the appointment of David Sloper as head of product management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has 30 years’ experience in investment and fixed income, over half at the Bank of Montreal. Sloper has also held positions at BBL London and Abbey National Treasury Services.
JLT Employee Benefits
The employee benefit provider has announced three appointments to its flexible benefits division. Andrew Drake joins as head of flexible benefits from Thomsons Online Benefits, where he was senior scheme design consultant. Nick Patel joins as senior flexible benefits consultant from Capita Employee Benefits, where he was senior consultant in flexible benefits. Ashley Finn joins as associate flexible benefits consultant from Edenred, where he was account executive.
Mirabaud Securities
Patrick Mayhew has been appointed to lead the equity sales team at the brokerage and corporate finance arm of Swiss bank Mirabaud. In addition, Will Draper becomes head of equity research. Both join from Espirito Santo in London, where the former was head of pan-European equity sales and the latter was head of European equities research.
Baringa Partners
The management consultancy has appointed Neil Maidment as a partner in its technology transformation practice. He joins from EY, and has 20 years’ experience shaping and leading technology enabled change. Maidment has also held roles at IBM, PwC and Marks & Spencer.
Druces
David Bennett has been appointed corporate partner in the business and private wealth law firm’s capital markets practice. He joins from Marriott Harrison, and advises on public markets transactions, corporate finance and M&A. Bennett is a member of the QCA Corporate Finance Committee and ISDX Advisory Group.
