The accountancy firm has announced the appointment of Philip Alfandary as associate director in its tax team. Alfandary has practised as a taxation solicitor for nearly 20 years. He was most recently at law firm TLT, where he was a partner and head of corporate tax.
Norton Rose Fulbright
Elisabeth Bremner has been appointed partner at the law firm’s dispute resolution and litigation practice. Bremner specialises in regulatory investigations. She was formerly a partner at DLA Piper.
Rathbones
The investment management company has recruited Edward James-Moore as an investment director. James-Moore was previously at HSBC Global Asset Management, where he was a director and head of its Midland region. Prior to that, he worked at WH Ireland Stockbrokers.
CMS
The law firm has announced the appointment of Simon Kilgour as a partner in its insurance and reinsurance group. He was most recently at RPC, where he was a partner and head of reinsurance.
Capita
The process management and outsourcing solutions company has hired Darren Mitchell as managing director of its investor relations business. Mitchell currently sits on the board of the Investor Relations Society.
Academia
Richard Faucher has been appointed commercial sales manager at the technology solutions provider. Faucher has over 20 years’ experience in the IT sector. He has previously held various roles at PC World, Misco and Insight.
Sackers
The law firm has appointed Lucy Dunbar as an associate. She joined Sackers in 2008 and has expertise in discretionary benefit cases.
K2 Intelligence
The investigative and risk analytics services firm has appointed Thomas Glocer to its board. Glocer was formerly a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Davis Polk & Wardwell.
