The claims management and third party administration services provider has appointed Mark Thompson as global head of major and complex loss, and chief executive of Cunningham Lindsey International. He has over 20 years’ experience managing loss adjusting and insurance forensic accounting.
LME
The London Metal Exchange has appointed Andrew Dodsworth as head of market operations. He joins from NYSE Liffe, where he was executive director of market services. Dodsworth has 19 years’ experience in the sector, and has also held roles at Liffe Market Supervision and Commerzbank.
London Square
The developer has announced three appointments to its land team. David Simpson joins as senior land buyer from Barratt North London. He has also held positions at Fairview New Homes, Shanly Homes and Bellway Homes. Ross Stewart has been promoted to senior land buyer. He joined in 2012 from Countryside Properties. Finally, Max Nordigian has been promoted to land buyer.
Squire Patton Boggs
The law firm has appointed Judith Donnelly as a partner in its pensions practice in London. She joins from Clyde & Co, where she was a partner. Donnelly advises pension funds and other institutional investors, and has also practiced at Linklaters and held in-house roles at Deutsche Asset Management and SG Asset Management.
Debevoise & Plimpton
The law firm has announced the appointment of six new partners, two in its London office. Sally Gibson is a member of the investment management group. She focuses on advising sponsors of private investment funds. Richard Lawton is a member of the international dispute resolution group. He specialises in complex litigation.
SunLife
The financial services company has appointed Mark Jones to lead the development of its protection retail business. He has over 27 years’ experience in financial services, and was most recently head of protection at LV=. Jones has also held senior roles at Friends Provident and Abbey Life.
GHC Capital Markets
Tim Harris has been appointed chairman of the asset allocation committee at the investment management firm. He was previously chief investment officer, UK high net worth, at Lloyds Bank Private Bank.
