The bank has announced the hire of Kim Hammonds as chief information officer and global co-head of group technology and operations. She was most recently at Boeing, where she was chief information officer. Prior to that, she held various roles at Dell and Ford Motor Company.
Friends Life
The assurance company has recruited Greg Horsnell as group internal audit director. He has over 15 years’ audit experience in the financial services industry. Horsnell joins from Old Mutual, where he was audit director for long-term savings. Before that, he was a director within Ernst & Young’s business risk services practice.
US Bank
The bank has made three appointments to its global corporate trusts services division in London. Joshua Theodore joins the business development team from Bank of New York Mellon, where he was a senior sales manager. Haider Sarwar joins the London analytics team, and specialises in structured products. Hamyd Mazrae joins the relationship management team. He previously worked in client services at Bank of New York Mellon.

The software company has recruited Paul Burmester as chief executive. He was most recently at MobiTV, where he was senior vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, he was chief commercial officer for sales and marketing at SpinVox.
Keystone Law
Mark Lawton has joined the law firm as a consultant solicitor in its construction team. He was formerly at Watson Burton, where he was a partner and head of construction dispute resolution.
JLT Employee Benefits
The employee benefits provider has hired Hugh Nolan as chief actuary. He has previously held various roles at Mercer and Aon.
Fladgate
The law firm has announced the appointment of Marc Sosnow as a corporate partner. Sosnow specialises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory work. He joins from Teacher Stern, where he was co-head of its hotels practice.
