Aon Hewitt
The human resources solutions company has appointed Stuart McKinnon as a principal consultant in its global investment consulting practice. McKinnon has over 17 years’ investment management experience, and joins from Lane Clark & Peacock.
City Financial
The fund management firm has made two hires. Peter Toogood joins from Morningstar, where he was investment services director. Prior to that, he was chief investment officer at Forsyth Partners. Gill Hutchinson also joins from Morningstar, where she was head of investment consultancy.
BNY Mellon
Eamon Burns has been appointed regional head of private equity accounting for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the investment management firm. He was most recently at State Street. Prior to that, he worked at Goldman Sachs for 11 years, where he was responsible for fund accounting for its top-tier private equity fund clients.
Colliers International
The real estate services firm has recruited Laurence Hatchwell as a director in its rating team. He previously spent 38 years at the Valuation Office Agency, where he led the civic and healthcare arm of its national rating specialists division.
TheCityUK
The financial services representative body has announced the appointment of James Nixon as chief economist. Nixon has 18 years’ experience in the private sector and central banking. He was most recently at Societe Generale, where he was chief European economist.
Altius Associates
Duncan Cox has joined the asset management company as special adviser in its infrastructure business. He was formerly president and chief executive at Canron Corporation and chief executive of Mitsui Babcock Energy.
Sberbank Private Banking
The bank has appointed Rudolf Scherrer as deputy head of private banking. He was most recently at Renaissance Group, where he was operational director and deputy chairman of the board at Renaissance Asset Managers. Before that, he held executive positions at Credit Suisse.
