Oxx
Oxx, the growth capital firm investing in B2B software companies, has appointed Daria Danilina as associate. Daria has joined Oxx with venture capital experience at Balderton and consulting experience at Bain & Company. Daria also has operational experience from her time at Dropbox, where she helped build the European sales organisation as part of the original landing team in Dublin.
Daria holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Finance from Cass Business School, City University London, and has a specialist knowledge of the B2B SaaS sector. Oxx now has a team that is seven-strong across its offices in London and Stockholm.
Irwin Mitchell
National law firm Irwin Mitchell has expanded both its Corporate and its Commercial teams in London with the appointment of two new partners. Winston Green has also joined Irwin Mitchell’s London office as a new partner in the commercial team.
Winston joins from Sainsbury’s Bank where he had the roles of head of legal and data protection officer. Prior to that he spent nearly 13 years at Dentons, London, in its TMT practice. Winston specialises in complex technology transactions and data protection advisory work, especially in the areas of financial services, fintech and the aviation industry. He is joining Irwin Mitchell’s growing IT and data protection team, which is now six partners strong nationally.
Deborah (Debbie) Serota has joined the firm as a corporate partner. She joins from Darlingtons Solicitors where she has been a partner in the corporate practice since 2012. Debbie specialises in M&A, joint ventures, equity fundraisings and shareholder agreements. She also advises companies as they prepare for sale. She joins a growing national corporate practice at Irwin Mitchell which is currently ranked as the eighth most active UK M&A legal adviser nationally for 2017 in the Experian league tables.
Rabobank
Rabobank, a global food, beverage and agribusiness bank, announces the appointment of James Cass as global sector head for beverages, based in the London office, effective 1 December. James joined Rabobank in 2013 as a senior relationship banker covering the bank’s UK and Nordic corporate client base.
Prior to joining Rabobank James’ background and training was in M&A and corporate finance where he spent over 12 years at Deutsche Bank. During his time as a senior relationship banker James has successfully managed client service teams, utilising the bank’s sector-focused knowledge base and strategic product solutions to enhance the bank’s quality of client dialogue and originate event and fee-related business.
