The insurance and risk management firm has announced the appointment of Rawden Leigh as a vice president in its financial and professional practice. He was most recently at Lockton, where he was a vice president. Prior to that, Leigh held roles at Oval Group.
Baring Asset Management
The asset management business has appointed Jean-Louis Scandella as head of equities. He joins from equity boutique Comgest, where he was part of its leadership team.
Winckworth Sherwood
Robin Dabydeen has been appointed partner in the law firm’s tax division. He was previously at Teacher Stern, where he was a partner and head of its tax division. Dabydeen was also formerly head of the corporate tax team at Wedlake Bell.
State Street
The investment management firm has made two appointments. Andrew Wilson joins as head asset manager for sector solutions in the UK and Nordics. He was most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a managing director in its global markets group. Wilson also previously held roles at Swift. Jane Mancini joins as head asset manager for sector solutions for the Americas. She previously led her own pensions consulting business.
Aon Hewitt
The talent, retirement and health solutions business has hired Koray Yesildag as an asset allocation specialist. He joins from GAM, where he was an economist, and member of its asset allocation team and investment committee.
Canaccord Genuity
Mark Palmer has joined the wealth management firm and investment bank as vice chairman in its investment banking division, with a focus on mining mergers and acquisitions. He joins from UBS, where he was head of its metals and mining team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before that, Palmer worked in the mining finance team at Rothschild.
Irwin Mitchell
The law firm has appointed Jonathan Sachs as a partner in its business legal services division. He specialises in professional negligence, and joins from Matthew Arnold Baldwin. Sachs previously led litigation teams at Pettman Smith and Sprecher Grier Halberstam.
