Savills
Matt McCue has been appointed out of town retail director at the real estate services provider. He has over 17 years’ experience in the industry, and joins from CBRE. He will continue to work with both landlord and retail clients at Savills.
BNY Mellon
The investment company’s wealth management business has appointed Yolande Escher as wealth director, focusing on sales and business development across Europe. She was previously a director at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in London, where she led a sales team focused on the resident non-domiciled market in the UK. Escher has also previously held roles at UBS Global Wealth Management and Business Banking in London and Zurich.
Northland Capital Partners
David Hignell has been appointed director in the investment bank’s corporate finance team. He previously spent eight years in the capital markets team at Grant Thornton. Hignell is a chartered accountant, and has also held roles at PwC.
Threadneedle Investments
Patrick Steiner has been appointed head of European insurance sales at the investment management firm. He has 20 years’ experience in asset management, and joins from Conning Asset Management, where he was business development director with a focus on European insurance clients. Steiner has also held roles at Deutsche Asset Management and Credit Suisse.
Bryan Cave
The law firm has announced two appointments to its London office. Ioannis Alexopoulos joins as a partner in its commercial litigation group and international arbitration team. He was previously a partner in DLA Piper’s litigation and international arbitration group. Helena Nathanson joins as a partner in Bryan Cave’s financial services group, as leader of its corporate trust team in London. She was previously a partner in Reed Smith’s structured finance group.
Chelsfield Group
The real estate firm and asset manager has announced the appointments of Nicholas Loup and Tara Bernerd to its board. Loup is chief executive of Grosvenor Asia Pacific, and was formerly director of Asia Standard International. Tara Bernerd began her career at Yoo, a residential and hotel design company, and founded Tara Bernerd & Partners in 2002.
