The asset manager and private bank has appointed David Chamberlain as head of investor relations for private equity. He has served for the past 10 years as chairman and managing partner of Capstone Partners. Chamberlain also previously spent 17 years at Unigestion in Geneva, where he was successively finance director and managing director, and has held roles at Continental Grain Group and Deloitte.

The investment firm has announced the appointment of Cai Rees as a director in its institutional advice team within Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was most recently head of investment strategy at Deloitte. Rees has also previously held roles at the Universities Superannuation Scheme, BlackRock and Mercer Investment Consulting.
DEUTSCHE ASSET & WEALTH MANAGEMENT
The asset management firm has announced the appointment of Hilary Aldridge and Alex Sloane as equity market investment specialists in its UK active asset management business. Aldridge joins from Barclays Global Investments Solutions, where she was most recently a fund-of-fund manager. She has also held roles at F&C Asset Management. Sloane was previously an equities analyst specialising in food producers at Societe Generale.

Paul Beausang has been appointed corporate tax partner in the law firm’s tax practice. He was previously a corporate tax partner at a law firm and a tax consultant at a Big Four accounting firm. Beausang’s focus includes structured finance taxation, real estate taxation, and public/private partnerships.

Lucy Parker has been appointed associate director in the property consultancy’s shopping centre property management team. She joins from Munroe K Asset Management, where she was responsible for the management of a number of shopping centres across the UK. Parker has 10 years’ experience in commercial property management.

The law firm has announced the appointment of Greg Burgess as employment partner. He joins from Asb Law, where he headed up its employment team. Burgess has more than 15 years’ experience in the field, and his practice focuses on advising on the employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, reduncancy, and restructurings.
CS HEALTHCARE
The friendly society has appointed Andrew Johnston as its chairman. He has been a member of its board since September 2013. Johnston worked at the Government Actuary’s Department for more than 30 years, latterly as deputy government actuary and head of pensions.
