Dalriada Trustees
The independent trustees firm has appointed Richard Favier as a trustee representative. He is a former head of restructuring and insolvency at the Pension Protection Fund, and left the PPF to set up his own consultancy in 2013. Favier is a member of the International Insolvency Institute.
Arthur J Gallagher
The international division of the insurance brokerage has appointed Michael Rea as chief operating officer and Carol Richmond as chief risk officer. Rea joins from Towergate Group, where he was most recently group chief operating officer. Richmond was previously chief risk officer of Aon UK.
FCA
The Financial Conduct Authority has announced two senior appointments. Mark Steward joins as director of enforcement and market oversight from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, where he is currently head of enforcement. He has also held roles at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Barbara Frohn joins as director of risk and compliance oversight from Banco Santander, where she is managing director. She is currently on secondment to the Institute of International Finance in Washington, DC. Both are expected to take up their new roles in the early autumn.
ACE Group
The multiline property and casualty insurer has appointed Andrew Williamson as executive vice president, global marine for ACE Overseas General. He joined ACE in January 2004 as cargo underwriter and UK and Ireland cargo manager for ACE Global Markets. Williamson has also held roles at Marsh.
Walker Crips
Alison Pickup has been appointed senior investment portfolio manager in the investment and wealth management firm’s York office. She joins from Brewin Dolphin, where she was a divisional director. Pickup has also held positions at Gerrard/Barclays Wealth.
Coutts & Co
The private bank and wealth manager has announced the appointment of Mark Lund as a non-executive director. He was previously chief executive of St James’s Place and Virgin Direct, and is currently vice chairman at British Ski and Snowboard. In addition, Brian Mulholland has been appointed finance director of the board for Coutts & Co. He joined in February 2014, having worked in the wider RBS group for four years, most recently as global head of capital planning.
