Marriott Harrison
Daniel Jacob has been appointed corporate partner at the law firm. He joins from Pitmans, where he was head of the London corporate group. Jacob specialises in investment, M&A, and restructuring work, with a particular focus on the hotel, leisure and technology sectors.
Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International
The investment banking arm of the financial services group has announced the appointment of David Morland as executive director and head of medium-term notes. He joins from UBS, where he was most recently head of European and US medium-term notes trading.

Celyn Armstrong has been appointed counsel in the law firm’s financial regulatory group. He was previously at the Financial Conduct Authority, where he most recently led the enforcement policy team. Prior to that, Armstrong worked as a senior associate at Allen & Overy.
RBC Global Asset Management
Royal Bank of Canada’s asset management arm has appointed Anne-Sophie Girault as managing director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa business development. She was most recently responsible for the client portfolio managers teams for fixed income at Aviva Investors. Girault has also held positions at BNP Paribas Investment Partners, Fidelity Investments, and La Compagnie Financiere Edmond de Rothschild.

The currency and fixed income manager for institutional investors has appointed Jonathan Clark as head of new product business development. He was previously vice chairman at FX Concepts in New York, and has 37 years’ experience in currency markets.

The law firm has announced the appointments of Antonia Ford and Judith Martin to its casualty and healthcare practice. Ford joins from DAC Beachcroft, and specialises in insurance fraud, employers’ liability, and public liability cases. Martin joins from Keoghs, and specialises in occupational disease litigation.
RPC
The law firm has announced that banking and financial markets litigation partner Jonathan Cary is relocating to Hong Kong. He joined RPC from Shearman & Sterling in 2013, and originally qualified at Herbert Smith, where he worked from its Hong Kong office for three years.
