Barclays
The bank has announced the appointment of Karl Trumper as head of trade and working capital for the UK. He joined in 2002, and was most recently head of sales for larger business.
Towers Watson
Tammy Richardson has been appointed UK head of insurance management consultancy at the professional services company. She joined in 2012 from Genworth Financial, where she was a senior vice-president of its mortgage insurance business in Europe.
Grant Thornton
The business advisory firm has hired Duncan Groves as a director in its employer solutions division. He was most recently at Baker Tilly, where he was head of public sector tax. Prior to that, Groves held roles at RSM Tenon.
Stephenson Harwood
The law firm has made two appointments to its private wealth team. James Quarmby has been appointed partner. He joins from Thomas Eggar, where he was head of its international and business taxation team. Vivienne Wild joins as a senior associate from Schofield Sweeney. She specialises in estate planning, trust and inheritance tax planning.
State Street Global Advisors
Alistair Byrne has joined the asset management company as a senior defined contribution investment strategist. He has over 20 years’ asset management experience. Byrne joins from Towers Watson, where he was a senior defined contributions investment consultant. Prior to that, he was a principal at Investit.
AIG
The insurance business has made two appointments to its trade credit division. Oliver Lambert joins as a trade finance manager from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, where he held underwriting roles. Marius Wolmarans joins from Euler Hermes, where he was a managing director.
Field Fisher Waterhouse
The law firm has appointed Thelma Marshall as a partner in its real estate division. She was previously a partner at Hunton & Williams. Prior to that, Marshall held senior positions at Lawrence Graham.
