The investment adviser and manager to GCP Infrastructure Investments and GCP Student Living has announced the appointment of Nicholas Barker as co-lead fund manager to GCP Student Living. Barker was previously head of alternative real estate at Schroder Real Estate for eight years, and has many years of fund management experience across the student accommodation and alternative property sector.
Clifford chance
The law firm has appointed Jessica Gladstone as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution practice in London. She joins from Debevoise & Plimpton, where she has worked since 2010. Gladstone specialises in public and private international law, and advises in disputes concerning cross-border international law issues.
Colliers International
The commercial real estate services provider has appointed Geoff Coe as a director in its healthcare team. He joins from Elizabeth Finn Care Charitable Trust , where he had been head of asset strategy for the past four years. Coe has also previously worked as head of property at Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.

Roger Tejwani has been appointed senior consumer analyst in the broker’s research team. He has 20 years’ experience in the City, and has previously held roles at PwC, Panmure Gordon, Numis Securities and Credit Suisse.
Dorsey & Whitney
The law firm has announced the appointment of Fabrizio Carpanini as a partner in its corporate group in London. He joins after more than 15 years at Olswang, where he was a partner and served as head of the corporate group and before that the private equity group. Carpanini has over 30 years’ experience across corporate transactional work.
Edentree investment management
The investment management firm has announced the appointment of Philip Harris as fund manager of the UK Equity Growth fund. He joins from RWC Partners, and has over 23 years’ experience as a UK smaller and mid cap companies fund manager. Harris has also previously spent 11 years at Hermes Focus Asset Management, where he was fund manager of the UK Specialist Focused fund, and has held positions at Credit Suisse Asset Management and Threadneedle Investments.
