The asset manager has announced that it has brought in a team of six portfolio managers, led by William Low (pictured). Low previously managed the high-alpha equity team at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, and has also held roles at BlackRock.
Eversheds
The law firm has announced the appointment of Totis Kotsonis as a partner in its London office. He joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was head of procurement. Kotsonis is an expert in public procurement law, EU state aid rules, and sector and utility regulation, and is a member of the Treasury’s Infrastructure UK procurement panel.

The institutional equity brokerage has announced four new appointments. Douglas Morton joins as head of Asia research from Bennelong Asset Management. James Santo joins as an event-driven sales trader. He was previously head of hedge fund sales at Merrill Lynch. Lachlin Miller joins as an equity sales trader from CF Global. Gerald Walsh joins as chief business officer from Schroders.

The law firm has announced the appointment of four lawyers to its property team. Charles Maxwell joins as a partner in the commercial property department from Hamlins. John Dean joins as a partner from Kidd Rapinet. He has also previously held roles at Bircham Dyson Bell and Sutton Mattocks. Simon Shai Noonoo joins as an associate. He was most recently at Richards Solicitors, and has also held roles at Mischon de Reya and Berwin Leighton Paisner. Simon Wade joins as a solicitor. He has worked at both Jeffrey Green Russell and Taylor Walton.

Owen Bale has been appointed associate at the UK commercial mortgage investment manager. He is a qualified solicitor, and previously practised for over four years at Clifford Chance, where he specialised in real estate finance law.

The sponsorship consulting practice has announced two appointments. Shea Warnes joins as digital strategist from BBH, where he was a social strategist. Josh Green has been promoted to creative director.
