Savills
The real estate services firm has announced the appointment of Rupert Phelps to establish a new family office services practice. He joins from BNY Mellon, where he was director of family office services. Phelps has also held senior roles at Euromoney, UBS Global Asset Management and Merrill Lynch.
Berwin Leighton Paisner
The law firm has announced the relocation of construction partner David Robertson from London to Singapore. He will focus on building BLP’s construction disputes practice in Asia.
BlueBay Asset Management
The fixed income and alternative investments manager has appointed Kerry Hugh-Jones as institutional portfolio manager, working with its global leveraged finance team. She was previously head of business development at Eclectica Asset Management, and has also held roles at Mediobanca and JP Morgan.
Exotix Partners
The frontier, emerging market and illiquid debt merchant bank has appointed Adib Pasha as chief operating officer. He was most recently a director in the equities division at Credit Suisse. Pasha has also held roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
Colliers International
Paul Hale has been appointed director in the real estate services firm’s valuation and advisory services team. He joins from JLL, where he was head of retail valuation. Hale has also held roles at King Sturge and Lambert Smith Hampton.
Eversheds
Alison Starr has been appointed corporate finance partner at the law firm. She joins from Pinsent Masons, where she was a partner. Starr has particular expertise in equity capital market transactions, and advises on M&A and takeovers, IPOs, public fundraisings, and listings rules and compliance issues.
Axa Investment Managers
The asset management firm has announced two senior appointments. William Healey joins as global head of SmartBeta and UK head of buy & maintain from JP Morgan Asset Management, where he was head of European high yield debt. Philip Roantree joins as senior portfolio manager in Axa IM’s fixed income team from Morningstar, where he was a fund analyst.
