Deloitte
The business advisory firm has announced two appointments. David Halstead (pictured) becomes leader of the technology sector, and Mark Lee-Amies has been appointed audit lead for Deloitte’s UK technology, media and telecoms (TMT) industry practice.
Henderson Global Investors
Glen Finegan has been appointed head of emerging market equities at the asset management firm. He was most recently senior portfolio manager at First State Stewart, covering global emerging market all cap strategies. Finegan was previously a geophysicist within the oil and gas industry.
PKF Littlejohn
The accountancy firm has announced the appointment of a new counter fraud team, which joins from BDO. Jim Gee joins as a partner. He was formerly chief executive of the NHS Counter Fraud and Security Management Service. Martin Moore joins as a senior manager. He is a former head of economic crime for Humberside Police. Andrew Whittaker joins as a senior manager. He is a former director of counter fraud training for the NHS, and has also held roles at KPMG and Capita.
Taylor Wessing
The law firm has announced the appointment of Stephen Flaherty as partner in its disputes and investigations team. He joins from Herbert Smith Freehills, where he was of counsel in its dispute resolution team.
Exotix Partners
Mica Palmstierna has been appointed global head of human resources at the emerging market and illiquid debt merchant bank. She has previously held HR positions at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Rowan Dartington
The wealth management firm has appointed Richard Mutton as business development manager. He previously held roles at Legal & General.
Candriam
William Jaworski has been appointed senior medical technology analyst at the asset management firm. He joins from Riverside, the private equity firm, where he focused on investments in healthcare and medical companies and led its European research team.
