Berwin Leighton Paisner
Lisa Mayhew has been elected to the position of managing partner at the law firm. She succeeds Neville Eisenberg, who held the role for 16 years. An employment specialist, Mayhew joined the board as an elected member in 2012. She had previously been a partner at Jones Day and Hogan Lovells.
Parker Fitzgerald
The financial services consultancy has appointed economist Dr Gerard Lyons to its group advisory board as senior adviser. Lyons is currently chief economic adviser to mayor of London Boris Johnson. Prior to that, he was chief economist and group head of global research at Standard Chartered. He has also held roles at DKB International and at Swiss Bank Corporation.
Watson Farley & Williams
Martin Thomas and Dearbhla Quigley have joined the law firm’s London office as corporate partners. Both join from Chadbourne & Parke.
Moore Stephens
The accountancy firm has appointed Simon Gallagher as managing partner. Gallagher joined Moore Stephens in 1999, and its partnership executive committee in May of last year.
Arthur Cox
Adrian Mulryan has joined the law firm’s London office as a partner in its Asset Management and Investment Funds group. He joined from Source, the European ETF provider.
Cohn & Wolfe
Julian Tanner has been appointed global technology leader by the communications agency. The newly created role will see him have day-to-day responsibilities for the firm’s tech business. Based in London, he will report direct to Donna Imperato, chief executive officer of the company. Tanner was more recently chief executive and principal of AxiCom, which he founded in 1994. Prior to that, he worked for IBM, Microsoft and Red Hat.
Rapleys
Nick Fell has been appointed partner by the commercial property and planning consultants. Prior to that, he was with Strettons, where he was associate director.
Puma Investments
Shane Weston joins the investment solutions firm as senior business development manager. He was previously at Meteor Asset Management and Barclays Wealth.
