The risk and insurance law firm has appointed Guy Munnoch as special and strategic adviser to its executive board. He is a former chief executive of Zurich Southern Africa and Zurich UK, and has also held positions at Aviva and Allianz.
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking
Marc Denjean has been appointed managing director, head of credit solutions at the bank. He joins from UBS, where he was most recently responsible for the European SNB StabFund. Denjean has also held senior roles at Barclays Capital and Merrill Lynch.

The exchange-traded products provider has appointed Juergen Blumberg as executive director, head of European capital markets. He previously held roles at iShares, where he was responsible for capital markets in German-speaking Europe, Eastern Europe and the Nordics.
Rothschild
Kevin Gardiner has been appointed global investment strategist in Rothschild’s wealth management business. He joins from Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, where he was chief investment officer (Europe). Gardiner has also previously held roles at HSBC Investment Bank, and he started his career at the Bank of England.
F&C Investments
The investment management firm has expanded its institutional client management team with the appointments of Paul Myles and Dick Rae. Myles joins from Nordea, where he was director, head of UK and Ireland institutional business. Rae joins from HSBC, where he was managing director in the strategic solutions group, focusing on insurance.
Clarkson Capital Markets
The investment banking arm of Clarkson, the shipping services firm, has appointed Paul Tomashevsky as director of investment banking. He has previously held roles at Bear Stearns, JP Morgan, and The CIT Group/Business Credit.
Payne Hicks
Catherine Costley has been appointed associate in the law firm’s family department. She joins from Pennington Manches and has particular expertise in high-value financial remedy cases.
