HIG Capital
Riccardo Dallolio has been appointed managing director and co-head of European real estate at the private equity investment firm. He previously worked at Axa RE, where he was head of alternatives and special situations, and has also held roles at JP Morgan and Grove International Partners.
Coutts
The private bank has announced the appointment of John Saunders as managing director for Western European, American and resident non-domiciled (RND) clients. He previously spent five years at Barclays Wealth, and has also held roles at UBS Warburg and UBS Wealth Management.
N +1 Singer
The corporate advisory and broking firm has announced three appointments. Lauren Kettle joins its corporate finance department as a senior associate. She has previously held roles at Merchant Securities and Northland Capital Partners. Alex Laughton-Scott joins the corporate finance team as an associate from PwC. Finally, James Quinn joins the market making team from Espirito Santo, where he was responsible for its FTSE 250 portfolio.
KPMG
Simon Virley has been appointed partner in the professional services firm’s energy practice. He joins from the Department of Energy and Climate Change, where he has been director general of energy markets and infrastructure since 2009. Virley has also previously held senior positions in Downing Street, the Treasury and the Cabinet Office.
Cantor Fitzgerald Europe
Richard Hickinbotham has been appointed head of European equity research at the financial services group in London. He was previously head of research at Charles Stanley, and has also held senior positions at Investec and SG Warburg & Co.
Cinven
The private equity firm has announced the promotion of three partners. Maxim Crewe joined in 2006 and is a member of its financial services sector team. He has previously held roles at Citigroup. Pontus Pettersson joined in 2011 and is a member of its Nordic regional team and industrials sector team. He was previously a principal at KKR. Yalin Karadogan is a member of Cinven’s investor relations team, and has worked at JP Morgan Partners.
