Robert Harvey has joined the law firm’s dispute resolution team. He is a former partner at Addleshaw Goddard, and has particular experience running commercial litigation and white collar crime investigations for high net worth individuals.
Lloyds Bank
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has appointed David Bee to the newly-created position of managing director, head of FX sales and wealth solutions. He will take up the position in August.
Morningstar
Dan Kemp has been appointed co-head of investment consulting and portfolio management for Morningstar Investment Management EMEA. He joins from Albemarle Street Partners, an investment consultancy partnership he co-founded in 2012. Kemp has 17 years of experience in research, investment management, and investment consulting, and has also held roles at Saltus Partners and Williams de Broe.
Finisterre Capital
The absolute return emerging market specialist has appointed Bartosz Pawlowski as portfolio manager for its sovereign debt fund. He previously worked at BNP Paribas, most recently as global head of emerging market strategy. Pawlowski has also held positions at TD Securities and ING.
Invesco Perpetual
The investment management firm has promoted Andrew Hall to fund manager on the Invesco Perpetual Global Opportunities Fund. He will work alongside the fund’s lead manager Stephen Anness. He joined the firm in May 2013, and has previously held positions at UBS Warburg, Merrill Lynch, and Moore Europe Capital Management.
GL Hearn
The property firm has announced two promotions in its building consultancy team. John Owen becomes building consultancy director. Michael Karbownik becomes associate director.
Association of Accounting Technicians
Rachel Banfield has been appointed president of the membership body for accounting technicians. She is currently vice principal of ifs University College.
